from Tammy Fox
Our dog, Annie, was diagnosed with Mast Cell Cancer in her face, lymph nodes, liver and spleen 4-1/2 months ago. Her oncologist said that with proper meds, we would be lucky to have 1 – 2 months with her. We were blessed with 4-1/2 months. Annie passed peacefully in November 2024 at Sauk Point Vet Clinic with both of her fur sisters, my husband, and I by her side.
Thank you to Dr Sanftleben at Sauk Point Vet Clinic with her herbs and her recipes for fresh food, Dr Robat Oncologist at VCA, and Dr Collins at Sauk Clinic as general vet and our support in Annie’s last moments as she passed, we were able to keep her as comfortable as possible. Thank you also to Beth at Czar’s Promise. They are a great organization that gives information, financial support and emotional support to those whose fur babies have been diagnosed with cancer. Thank you also to JR’s Pups n Stuff for bringing Annie to our family 11 years ago. Thank you to my family and friends that have reached out over and over during the last 4-1/2 months to check on Annie and I. Your love and support are truly appreciated!
Annie was wonderful girl. She was easy going, always happy, I never needed to worry about her snapping, or running, she was very eager to please. She helped train almost 300 foster dogs and pups fostered in our house, showing them ‘back-off’ cues and potty training as well as love. She was always giving to her sisters, great in the office, and a sweet and beautiful sole. She is missed by her family!!!! Your thoughts and/ or prayers are appreciated and all that’s needed, but a couple people have asked about memorials. For those that want to, please remember JR’s Pups n Stuff (https://jrspupsnstuff.org/donate) or Czar’s Promise (https://www.czarspromise.com/gift-guide/). Both organizations are 501(c)(3) organizations, so they are tax deductible.
Rest in Peace baby girl! I’ll love you forever!
