fka Sassy

Effie was a sweet girl who loved her own space, but couldn’t wait to be in my arms when strangers were present or at the vet’s office.  She was the shadow of her brother and littermate, Snoopy (Sammy), following him everywhere and chiming in with little “yip” sounds whenever he barked, sounding like punctuation to his narrative.  In the photo, she is on the right.  She loved being warm, and her favorite spot was her bed in front of the electric fireplace.  She was a gentle soul and an independent elder lady.  Her brother and I miss her so very much.
